Stat Tracking #1

I started running Google Analytics on Vintage Leafs one month ago, just to track what sort of traffic the site has been generating. Some very interesting numbers so far. Thought I would post some of the things that caught my eye from the first month's data:

1873 Visits
5648 Page Views
182 Page Views/Day

The fine folks from Pension Plan Puppets are responsible for 36% of my traffic. Their "From the Branches" posts are a wonderful source of Leafs news from across the Internet, and they are kind enough to link to Vintage Leafs on a regular basis.

Fellow blogger Down Goes Brown has led 8% of my traffic to the site. If you haven't already visited DGB, do yourself a favor and check it out. Undoubtedly one of the most entertaining reads out there for Leafs fans.

Overall, 64% of Vintage Leafs traffic is generated through referrals. The Barilkosphere is a powerful entity.

This entry
had the most hits of any other in the past month. Not coincidentally, it was linked directly from one of Pension Plan Puppets FTB entries.

70% of my traffic is from Canada. Don Mills, Ontario sends more traffic my way than any other city. Visitors from 37 different countries have checked out the site. Hockey hotbeds such as Brazil, South Africa, Afghanistan, Portugal, Malaysia and Mexico have all sent visitors to the site.

Thanks to all the visitors and referring sites. Stay tuned for more Vintage Leafs.
